Healing Hearts is a trauma-informed mental health program dedicated to providing culturally responsive care for Black women and girls who are survivors of interpersonal violence. We understand that the journey to healing is deeply personal, and our mission is to create a safe, supportive space where survivors can find hope, resilience, and empowerment. Through tailored therapy sessions, group counseling, and educational resources, Healing Hearts helps survivors navigate the complexities of trauma and reclaim their well-being.

Black women and girls face unique barriers to accessing mental health care, including systemic inequities, financial constraints, and cultural stigmas surrounding therapy. Interpersonal violence, including domestic abuse, sexual assault, and other forms of trauma, disproportionately affects Black women, often leaving them without the necessary support to heal.
Healing Hearts was created to address these gaps by providing affordable, accessible, and culturally competent care. Our program is built on the principles of empathy, empowerment, and community, ensuring that every survivor receives the individualized support they need to heal and thrive.
Provided over 231 individual therapy sessions to survivors.
Expanded over 4 states.
Helped survivors report improved mental health outcomes, including reduced anxiety, depression, and PTSD symptoms.
