We offer holistic support programs tailored to the specific needs of black girls and women who are survivors of family violence that include 1-1 therapy sessions, resource management, and victim advocacy assistance. We specialize in a wide range of areas, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
Individual Therapy Available
- Low cost therapy services are available for uninsured or underinsured clients, via sliding scale.
- Insurance is accepted for therapy services in the state of NM, AL, LA, and MD. Contact us to verify if your insurance is accepted using the contact form.
- Non-psychological well-being coaching is available to clients residing in any state! Insurance is not available for well-being coaching sessions.

Healing Circles & Empowerment Workshops
Our goal is to offer safe spaces through community healing circles and empowerment workshops that facilitate discussions on healing, resilience, and empowerment. These gatherings provide opportunities for sharing experiences, building support networks, and accessing resources for mental health, self-care, and personal development.
Education & Awareness Programs
Our educational programs are aimed at increasing awareness about health disparities affecting black girls and women. HIH collaborates with schools, community centers, and organizations to offer workshops, seminars, and resources that highlight the impact of violence and discrimination while promoting healthy relationships and self-esteem.
Advocacy & Policy Reform Initiatives
Our advocacy programs are aimed at challenging the adultification of black girls by engaging in policy advocacy and workingtowards structural changes. HIH organize campaigns, workshops, and initiatives focused on educating policymakers, community leaders, and the public about the unique challenges faced by black girls and women, while advocating for policy reforms to address these issues.
