Board members should deeply care about the core mission of Hope In Her, which focuses on empowering Black girls and women, addressing menstrual health equity, supporting survivors of domestic violence, and advocating for systemic change. Their commitment to the organization’s goals should be evident in their enthusiasm and engagement.
Experience in nonprofit leadership, business strategy, program development, or organizational growth.
A willingness and ability to help raise funds to support our mission through donor cultivation, corporate partnerships, and grant opportunities.
Knowledge of public policy and community organizing, especially on issues like domestic violence, menstrual equity, and racial justice
